I was afraid to purchase this bed at first because I thought the lid would be too heavy. It’s not! I’m 5’4” and 125lbs and I can slide and lift the top right off. So easy to move to another room too. Living in Hawaii it is difficult to find furniture suppliers that will ship here quickly for a reasonable fee. The additional shipping charges were very affordable, and the staff were extremely responsive to any and all product and shipping questions I had. They utilized text messaging, which is extremely helpful as we are in different time zones. Additionally, I received a Memorial Day discount on the cabinet bed which ended up being a substantial savings and beat any other internet pricing by far. My bed arrived a month earlier than expected, I haven't set it up yet but am really looking forward to doing so! I so appreciate SDS and wish they sold other furniture as well.
